Long before perfume became an industry, India understood something the world would discover centuries later:

From the sandalwood forests of Mysore and the attars of Kannauj to the roses of Rajasthan, the saffron fields of Kashmir, the jasmine of Madurai and the oud traditions of Assam, India never simply wore fragrance.
It carried memory through scent. These weren't ingredients. They were stories. They were rituals. They became identity.
WHY BARE AFFAIR EXISTS
Somewhere along the way, we stopped telling our own stories. The industry became filled with copies, inspirations and recreations of fragrances that belonged to someone else's memories.
So we asked ourselves one question.
If India gave the world some of its most extraordinary fragrance ingredients, why are we trying so hard to smell like someone else?
That question became Bare Affair.
